In the end, history is nothing more than a Darwinian food chain disguised as “progress.” The big fish always devours the small one, even when the small fish imagines itself swimming in supportive schools, only to end up in the stomach.
Four years ago, the famous Indian-born political scientist Parag Khanna, former advisor to Barack Obama, author for the publishing giant Random House, member of the World Economic Forum in Davos and several of the world’s most prestigious think tanks (Council on Foreign Relations, Brookings Institution, and the European Council on Foreign Relations), gave an interview to the Scottish newspaper Herald and the Financial Times:
“The entire Western discussion on immigration is bizarre. You have low birth rates, aging populations, insufficient workers. In London, Mohammed is already the most popular name among newborns. We will see the effects of mass migration over the next 30–50 years. We will see a higher percentage of brown children and fewer white ones. It is all part of the beautiful and profound tide of history and demographics.”
It is always edifying to hear liberals talk about race without being accused of racism.
In any case, there is no need to wait 30 years. Khanna’s vision is materializing faster than expected, not as a multicultural idyll, but as a demographic and political conquest.
