And this is more than a hunch about Italy’s future—now a “living laboratory” of Western decline.
The most important story of our time is that the entire Western world is plunging into an abyss, and most Westerners aren’t even aware of it—or don’t want to be informed. I envy them a bit. It’s comforting to row a canoe while insisting that the roar ahead is music from the last tango, not Niagara Falls.
